Jupiter – Guru of the Devas Bṛhaspati (बृहस्पति) enters Aries Mesha forming Guru Chandal Yoga till Oct 2023

Bṛhaspati (बृहस्पति) is the name of a deity who received the Candrajñānāgama from the great Naga Serpent  Ananta

The candrajñāna-āgama, being part of the eighteen Rudrabhedāgamas, part of one of the twenty-eight Siddhāntāgamas –(classification of the Śaiva division of Śaivāgamas) Shiva’s Agamas

Śaivāgamas represent the Great wisdom that has come down from lord Śiva, received by Pārvatī (often conversational style) and accepted by Viṣṇu.

Bṛhaspati obtained the Candrajñānāgama from Ananta who in turn obtained it from Sadāśiva Bṛhaspati in turn, transmitted it to the Devas who, through divyādivya-sambandha, transmitted it to the Ṛṣis who finally, through adivya-sambandha, revealed the Candrajñānāgama to human beings (Manuṣya).

Meet the Bṛhaspati Family

Bṛhaspati is the son of Rishi Angiras (according to the Rig Veda 4.40.1) and Surupa according to the Shiva Purana.

He has two brothers named Utathya and Samvartana, and has three wives.  His first wife, Shuba, gave birth to Bhanumati, Raaka, Archishmati, Mahamati, Mahishmati, Sinivali, and Havishmati, his seven daughters. His second wife, Tārā, gave birth to seven 7 sons and a daughter. (Could these seven Sons have to do with the seven days of thwe week, which is strong Agni, or for that matter the seven horses of Surya God?) Bṛihaspati’s third wife, Mamata, he had two sons, Kacha and Bharadwaja.

Bṛhaspati’s Acceptance of Chandra’s illicit love for Tārā & birth of Budh

Chandra has mark of a rabbit (shasa), so called ‘bearer of the rabbit’ (shashi). It may have something to do with his illicit love for Tārā Literally meaning  –  star),; Chandra (Moon) visited the house of Brihaspati the Guru and instantly fell in love with Tara, who too reciprocated her romantic feelings. So infatuated with Chandra and delighted by showering his attention on her, she deserted Brihaspati and moved into Chandra’s house. Brihaspati approached Chandra and counselled him that this romance with his own Guru’s wife was not only illegitimate but a blatant infringement of Dharma which would attract a sin tantamount to ‘Brahma Hatya’ – murder of a Brahmana and asked Tara to be returned to him.

Chandra declined to do so as Tara came away out of her own desire. Brihaspati visited Chandra again but the latter was adamant to return Tara saying that the couple were madly infatuated mutually.

Chief of Devas, Lord Indra  despatched an intelligent emissary to Chandra Loka.

Bṛhaspati’s Acceptance of Tārā and her affair with Chandra – Moon, resulting in the birth of Budh – Mercury, giving him a pupil whom he could teach was a big factor for acceptance!

Maharishi Viśvāmitra gives the highest lesson on spirituality in the Rig Veda (Mandala III, Chapter 62).

After explaining the virtues of spiritual discipline, Viśvāmitra extols the virtuous Bhaspati addressing Him as the Lord of the inviolable, non-injurious sacrifice as well as that of the Sky/ Ether Divine Element called the ākāśa tattva

From the Rigveda rik (mantra Rig Veda 3-62-5).

CONJUNCTION WITH RAHU AND ASPECT OF SHANI SATURN – COLLECTIVE ANGST, GRIEF, FEELING OF EXTREME RELIGIOUS, BELIEF SYSTEMS DISAGREEMENTS AND DISCORD

Here Rahu in Aries is influencing Jupiter and will take on the colours to behave in the manner of Jupiter. The Best remedy for this situation is really to keep one’s balance and not be swayed by the temptations of Rahu, as the intelligence gets hijacked with any association of RAhu with Jupiter. We will also encounter with Saturn and Shani – the śrāddha Affliction, which is in a mourning state of mind when someone passes away. This is a problem, as some lifetime, one has not performs the last rites properly.

(Śrāddha (श्राद्ध).—The offering given to Pitṛs. According to the Purāṇas Śrāddha is a very important ceremony. Here, “Pitṛs” does not mean “the souls of the dead”. Pitṛs belong to a special class of gods. – wisdom library )

We are already seeing violent outbursts and increaded control issues and misinformation by Government and media world wide. Precaution and going in ward for a few months before leaping into emotive action will keep you well.

One of the finest remedies is the Brihaspati Linga in Kashi – in Scindia Ghat.

From the Skanda Purana – it attests to the remedy to at least visit the Brihaspatieshwar Linga.

Īśvara said:

1-3. Then, O great goddess, a devotee should go over to the Lord resorted to by Guru (Jupiter). It is situated to the east of Umā and south-east of Siddheśa.

This great Liṅga was installed by the Preceptor of Devas. With great devotion, he propitiated the Liṅga for a thousand years and pleased Śarva, the consort of Umā, the Lord of the Devas. He attained all the cherished desires inaccessible to those who have no self-control.

  1. Now he has the knowledge pertaining to Īśvara and the state of being adorable by Devas. He has attained the status of a planet. He rejoices in heaven only.

5-7. A man who views that Lord, never meets with a distressed condition. The affliction brought about by an adverse Bṛhaspati will never torment those excellent men who view the Liṅga installed by Bṛhaspati.
