Jaimini Sūtra Conference 2023 – Wednesday May 24th inaugurated by Sri Sarbani Rath, Jaimini Scholar And Parasara Hora Sastra Jyotisha Pandita and Guru,Sanksrit Scholar and my JYotisha Guru and mentor for all these years.
She will be talking on Rudrāṁśa 1 pm BST (GMT +1) Cannot wait!
After which is Visti Larsen, on Nakshatra Lordships Reversal . A theme with vast implications. This is an introduction to his part of ongoing research, which is hugely interesting and forays into a great approach for predictions. He is also a Jaimini Scholar, Parasara Hora Sastra Pandita and Jyotisha Guru from the tradition.
After which we have Andrew Foss, on Bondage and Liberation, and as usual Andrew Ji bringing a unique perspective to the vastness of Jaimini Sutra, where Ketu as a Moksha karaka, underpins it.

Day 2 – 25th May 2023 is Paul Barker, President of the Theosophical Society of Leeds.He also recently achieved his Jaimini Scholar Certification. He also conducts the yearly Leeds Vedic Conference. He will be speaking on The Charakarakas and some Jaimini Yogas.
Interplay of the Charakarakas and their combinations and bhavas they rule, some significant Yogas arise. One certainly not to be missed!
Sonal Sachdeva is a Jyotisha Pandita and has been studying in an ongoing Jaimini Sutra and Mantra Sastra programme with the Devaguru Brihaspati Centre. She is also keen and has been involved in ongoing training on Aromatherapy and aims to combine the two, Principles of Jyotisha and Aromatherapy.
She will speak on Tapaswi Yoga and its variations. What does it mean to have this kind of ‘intense burning’? Why is it considered such a spiritual Yoga or is it that it compels one to have a strong spiritual vision and goal? We will also find variations of it, as in replacing Saturn which is a requirement and replacing it with another ‘malefic’ Mars will bring forth another yoga. Time permitting of course!
JUne 2nd Friday 2023 – We have Shanmukha T, Electronics Engineer by profession, working in a reputed scientific organization in India.He did have the opportunity to study for a few years with Irangati Rangacharya, and has done extensive research from various libraries all over the country on the Jaimini Sutras. We welcome him for the Conference, and he will be speaking 2 days, introducing the principles of Jaimini for ascertaining core strength and day 2 i.e June 3rd on some of the Dashas for Jaimini.
We also have Ki-Florence , who is a Founder/Director DCH, LMT, CPT, RYT, Ayurvedic Doctor and Pancha Karma Specialist, Jyotish Kovid Counselor, Ashtanga & Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, Master NLP Practitioner. Certified Aston-Patterning Practitioner, Pilates Instructor. And many other qualifications.
She will speak on the Progressing the Sun and the kaulukas and links to disease.
Day 3 – June 3rd 2023
We have Raman Suprajarama, who has an extensive practice and flourishing Astrological and Vastu Consultancy and comes from the grand and illustrious family lineage of Suryanarain Rao, who was the grandfather of BV Raman. Raman is the grandson of BV Raman, one of the most respected astrologers, from India. He is the senior editor of The Astrological eMagazine, and has successfully predicted about the future of various countries including India. He has spoken in many international conferences .
He will be speaking on the theme ‘Secrets of the Atmakaraka’ . The Atmakaraka is one theme that touches the heart of everyone, as no doubt we will be glued to this!
Satsiri Khalsa ji, honors graduate of Harvard University , Jaimini Scholar, Parasara Hora Sastra Pandita and Jyotisha Guru, wonderful guided meditations teacher (experienced it first hand over 3 weeks with her!), will speak on the magical powers bestowed by the Lords of the Directions, (dikpala devatas) when they combine in some yogas. So fascinating…cannot wait.
Friday 9th June 2023
Lakshmi Ramesh, Jaimini Scholar, Parasara Hora Sastra Pandita and a Jyotisha Guru for the Jaimini Sutra.She is based in the wonderful city of Tirupati and use to work for a Bank, until lucky for us gave up and pursued full time Jyotisha. Her specialty is Jyotisha in the Vishnu Purana (that is my firm favourite) amongst others. She will be speaking on Shakti Rasi. Strength giving… We wait eagerly..
Mohan Raja is a Jaimini Scholar and a Jyotisha Pandita from the tradition. He is also dedicated researcher and well versed in sanskrit to illuminate with his extensive and voracious study of
all the core Jyotisha texts. He is also keen on homams and is involved with the wonderful temple near to his residence. He will be speaking on Amatya Karaka and it’s application in the divisional chart – Shastyamsa (d60). Helps us to understand deeper meaning in our Karmic experience in contribution to society and for self. As Amatya Karaka, is career, work significator. Promises to be an eye opener.
Finally, for our Closing Talk we have my Vedanta Guru, Swamini B(Brahma Prajnananda
Saraswati) direct disciple of Pujya swami Dayananada Saraswati of the Arshy Vidhya
Gurukulam. She has extensive courses and a programme for children (SHINE) and tours
all round the world. Am very fortunate to have her for wrapping the conference.
From 10 am to 11:30 am, on the 24th there will be a conference opening with Ganesh Homam at the East Ham Temple in London UK. All are welcome, who are based in the UK. We will try streaming it online(connections permitting!), or possibly recording which can be viewed later. We have the conference spread over 5 days, 13 Speakers, (perhaps more added later!). May 24th, May 25th, June2nd June 3rd, and June 9th are the dates.
